It’s not very “me” to plunk a generic cake topper at the center of a beautiful wedding cake. I much prefer to create an effect that speaks to the specific people taking their vows. Recently, we commissioned cake master Sylvia Weinstock—a legend in the industry and a true artist—to create the ultimate wedding topper for a couple with two kids and a sweet dog. Not only does Sylvia’s topper look exactly like them, she incorporated the whole family (two- and four-legged members, alike).
The couple can now keep their one-of-a-kind cake topper forever, in a clear shadowbox, with photos from the wedding. It’s a great reminder that the world is sweet, and this family is literally on top of it.
